Wanda is a passionate and talented stylist who loves making each client create their best look. Whether you are looking for the latest industry trends or something a little more classic, she is ready to make your beauty shine through. She takes pride in communicating with every guest to achieve their desired outcome. Wanda specializes in color and loves all shades of blonde and balayage techniques. She is experienced in a variety of cutting techniques including razor cuts and stays current with cutting education through various artists.
Wanda’s career started at The Paul Mitchell School and she continues to always advance with the latest industry trends including completion of the Wella Color Expert program in New York and Los Angeles, California. She has also completed the cutting series with The Wella Studio in Los Angeles.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Alan and her son Jayden along with their family dog Louie! Whenever she has time Wanda enjoys vacationing in the beautiful gulf coast of Florida or anywhere in the Caribbean.

With over 20 years of experience behind the chair, Christine brings a deep passion for hair and people to every appointment. She began her journey just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, working in a salon while still in high school and earning my license shortly after graduation. Since then, she has explored many facets of the industry—from working in both corporate and private salons, to roles in salon management and education.
Over the years, she has watched trends evolve and developed a wide-ranging skill set that allows her to create everything from transformations to subtle, lived-in color. Whether it's high-maintenance blonde or soft, low-key texture, she tailors every service to fit each guest's lifestyle and vision.
She believes the key to a great service starts with education. Every appointment begins with a thoughtful consultation and ends with the client feeling more empowered and knowledgeable about their hair. For her, success is when someone leaves not only loving their look, but also understanding how to care for it.
What she loves most about this work is the relationships she builds—with her clients, her co-workers, and her community. Coming into the salon feels like spending time with friends, and that connection is everything.
In 2023, she and her husband relocated to Virginia with their son, daughter, and two dogs—and welcomed a new baby girl the following spring. When she is not behind the chair, you'll find her at home with her three children, experimenting in the kitchen. She has a passion for cooking, fermenting, and sourdough baking, and she enjoys quiet moments with classic silent films and the company of friends and family.

Kaitlyn’s passion for hair started early. While attending Kettle Run High School’s Cosmetology Program in 2019-2022, she simultaneously trained for nearly three years under Master Stylist Wanda Payne-Banks, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
She has a passion for customized color, from bright, bold blondes to dimensional brunettes to soft, lived-in blondes. Kaitlyn tailors every look to her clients’ features, hair type, and lifestyle. She also enjoys creating elegant updos for weddings and special occasions, and she’s passionate about educating clients on at-home care to keep their hair healthy and vibrant.
Outside the salon, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her fiancé, Blake, and her dogs, Bieber and Bailey. She also enjoys shopping, being with friends and family, and getting lost in a good book.

Emma is a recent cosmetology school graduate who is thrilled to start taking clients behind the chair.
She got her start in hair through wedding and formal updos as well as designing the hair for countless theatre productions.
She loves tailoring her services to fit her guests lifestyle and is very excited to learn new techniques and grow her repertoire with more advanced certifications.

Kimi is a licensed massage therapist with over 9 years of previous experience in Gainesville, Virginia. She looks forward to servicing any existing clients and meeting the Warrenton, Virginia locals. Kimi specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Myofascial release massages. She is able to provide an individualized plan that best fits each client's needs.
Kimi is a Disney loving mom of two and a firefighter wife. Her family is her life which is why she wanted to be closer to home. She looks forward to being a part of your health and healing journey here at Studio 22 Salon & Spa.
Ally is a dedicated Master Esthetician with a passion for helping her clients feel relaxed, confident, and beautiful in their skin. Her journey into esthetics began during her time at VCU, where she discovered her true calling.
While her peers were focused on their majors, Ally found herself drawn to a more personal path—helping others achieve comfort and confidence in their skin. Performing lash lifts and tints for friends in her dorm room, she quickly realized her passion and knew it was time to pursue a career in esthetics.
Ally specializes in advanced skincare treatments, including lash lifts, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion, all aimed at helping her clients reach their skincare goals.
Outside the spa, Ally enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She’s also a fan of live music and loves exploring new experiences. Ally is excited to continue her skincare journey at Studio 22 Salon & Spa and looks forward to helping her clients feel their absolute best!
